After a drink, a vape and a smoke, El-P gets to work with his broken turntable and rebuilt sampler on turning Leon Haywood, Beethoven and Theo Vaness’ Back to Music—which the Brooklyn based producer calls perfect combination of psychedelic colours and ass—into something palpable.
