And then there’s the reaction to the album art. The inspiration is behind the first cover is pretty obvious, with Drizzy and artist Kadir Nelson channeling Illmatic, Ready to Die and even Tha Carter III with their airbrushed mini-Drizzy, but not even Nelson’s extensive portfolio and talents can save this one.
