M.I.A. is threatening to leak her new album

Back in June M.I.A. alleged that her new album Matangi was being held back by Interscope because it was "too positive," and months later it seems like we're nowhere near that being resolved.

Last night the politically charged singer took to Twitter, where she vented her frustrations on the album’s release.
If interscope takes longer i can always leak this next week and make a new one by the time they are ready.

For fans, this would be great. For her? Not so much. Matangi was originally set for release in January, then April and now nothing. Watch the video for first single “Bring the Noize up top.
UPDATE: Looks like she got her wish. After news of her threats got out, Interscope announced via Pitchfork that Matangi will finally come out on November 5th.
