Swedish artist / designer Victor Hertz has dabbled in the genre before, but the series of posters he unveiled recently might be his best: They’re pictogram posters visualizing some of the most iconic pop songs of all time. The musicians he chose? Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Iggy Pop, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and Bruce Springsteen.

“This is my most ambitious, and maybe also the best, personal work I’ve done so far,” Hertz wrote in a statement on his site. “I decided to pick a few bands and artists from the rock genre and make pictogram posters for them. Instead of just putting one single pictogram in each poster, like in my previous ‘Pictogram music posters’, I made as many as I could possibly come up with for each artist, and jammed them into one single poster.”

Can you figure out all the references made in each of these posters? If so, drop them in the comments.

Big thanks to Fast Company Design for tipping us off on these pictograms. You can buy purchase these posters for $35 a pop right here.
