Ted Dwane is known to everybody but his parents as the dude who diddles the upright bass in Mumford & Sons, and while we love to poke fun at those guys we’re happy to hear that he’s on the road to recovery after undergoing emergency brain surgery.
According to their website, Dwan went to the hospital after feeling unwell for a while, where doctors found a bloodclot on the surface of his brain. He’s since undergone successful surgery and, while they’ve cancelled a few days, is expected to be back on the road as early as Bonnaroo on the 15th. [via Consequence of Sound]
