Track Of The Week: "Bruises" by Dusted

Its not a brand new song, but one that I had no problem remembering.  

This week I saw the video for “Bruises” by Toronto duo Dusted, from the album Total Dust (out via Hand Drawn Dracula). Featuring shimmering flares of sunlight and soft focus, the video pairs perfectly with Dusted‘s fuzzed-out guitars and haunting vocals. Director Ben Portas, who is a longtime friend and collaborator of Hand Drawn Dracula, shot the video in remote Australia, taking advantage of his surroundings to craft a beautiful visual interpretation of the song.

This summer Dusted are doing a few Canadian summer gigs—NXNE in Toronto and Osheaga in Montreal, as well as a special show presented by Osheaga at Théâtre Corona with The Besnard Lakes and Valleys.
