In its five years of existence, Hand Drawn Dracula—the label home to Dusted, Holy Fuck, and Bruce Peninsula, amongst many others—has become one of Toronto’s most celebrated labels. And to commemorate their half-decade of existence, they’re teaming up with Scion for yet another must-have release: A split 7-inch between noisecore terrors Greys and Beliefs, a buzzy shoegaze act led by man-about-town Josh Korody. The 7-inch is the second split Scion has backed as part of their ongoing Scion Sessions—last year, they also released a post-hardcore record with Coliseum and Young Widows.

Their newest 7-inch, however, will feature “Dodgson,” a brand new Greys track, while Beliefs will contribute “Long Wings.” Check both tracks below.

If you’re looking to get your hands on a physical copy, you’re in luck—the 7-inch is free. Here’s how to get it: head to Hand Drawn Dracula’s 5th Anniversary Party presented by Scion Sessions and NXNE in Toronto on June 15 at The Garrison. They’ll be handing out copies to all attendees. And if that weren’t enough, Tangiers, a revered Toronto act featuring Paper Bag Records artist Josh Reichmann and Bishop Morocco’s James Sayce, are reuniting for the show. They’ll be performing tracks from their 2003 LP, Hot New Spirits.

Also on the bill are HDD artists in Doomsquad, Dusted, and Dream Affair. Check the Facebook event page here.
