Toronto's Teenage Kicks are recording a new album in Los Angeles. This is the first of four studio updates for AUX directed by Sean Egerton Foreman.

Toronto’s Teenage Kicks are currently in Los Angeles working on a new album (their first album for Rezolute Music), and in this, the first of four studio updates for AUX directed by Sean Egerton Foreman, they talk the challenges of that creative process.

“I’m impatient and I’m angry and I’m brutal with them. But at the end of the jam, the song is there and I return to myself,” is the sentiment in the above clip.

The band is working with producer Alain Johannes (Artic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age), and along with the upcoming additional video updates on AUX, are posting lots of other sunny glimpses over at their Tumblr.

Check back next Thursday for the next installment.
