At the end of each week, #Top40Tweets lists a cross-section of artists on the current pop charts and puts their tweets on display (along with their current chart number) for your enjoyment/scrutiny. This week, we look at artists on the Billboard Music Charts.

(Uncharted): Kanye West – Clique feat. Big Sean & Jay-Z

Kanye broke his Twitter silence to shine some light on Jay-Z’s “Open Letter.” I guess Jay-Z felt the need to address his critics on the issue of his Cuban vacation, and the forfeit of his Brooklyn Nets ownership stake. This comes less than a month after Beyoncé called out her haters on “Bow Down.” Remember: the couple that stunts together, stays together.

FUN FACT: Was anyone else hoping that Kanye was going to post a Ray-J diss, in response to “I Hit It First“? Instead, we got this shitty Pusha T song.

(Uncharted): Sean Kingston – Beat It feat. Chris Brown & Wiz Khalifa

Has Sean Kingston never seen the classic Adam Sandler motion picture Click? That remote was nothing but trouble for the Sandman.

FUN FACT: I’m not sure what’s more surprising, the fact that Chris Brown is featured on a song called “Beat It,” or the fact that Sean Kingston is still releasing music.

#93 (Hot 100): Ke$ha – C’Mon

Someone tell Ke$ha that it ceases to be a cleanse when you dump vodka into the juice.

FUN FACT: Who’s ready to watch K-Dolla on her new reality show, My Crazy Beautiful Life? It airs Tuesday, April 23rd at 11pm on MTV.

#141 (Billboard 200): Katy Perry – Teenage Dream

Ancient Chinese secret, huh? I hear that can give your dingle less tingle.

FUN FACT: After rumours surfaced that Katy Perry was hooking up with her ex-husband, the insufferable Russel Brand, Katy squashed them while proving that hindsight is 20/20:

(Uncharted): Avril Lavigne – Here’s To Never Growing Up

OH GOD KILL IT.

FUN FACT: Apparently, Avril’s new record will feature orchestras, Marilyn Manson, and a song about never growing up that was co-written by her 38-year-old fiancee.
