Listen to the National's new song, "Demons"

The National have been playing the odd new song live in the lead-up to next month’s Trouble Will Find Me,” but early this morning gave fans their first real treat of new music with first single “Demons.”

The song is what you’d expect from the band, with Matt Berninger’s deep bellow complimenting the track’s grayscale video, which shows the artistic process behind their new album’s artwork.

It’s all very bleak. In other words, the best way to start your Monday. Look for Trouble Will Find Me when 4AD releases it on May 21st.
