Let it be known that throwing your phone (or anything) at an artist on stage is an obnoxious move and shouldn’t ever be done, but one fan crossed the line regardless when she tossed her phone at Macklemore mid-performance at an afternoon performance yesterday.

Lucky for her, he took the toss in spirit, grabbed the phone and took this hilarious selfie before allegedly tossing it back into the crowd. It all happened at George Washington University’s Spring Fling, in case you need details. [via Reddit]

UPDATE: Also posted on Reddit, a fan says Tyler, the Creator apparently took his phone to snap this photo on stage at a show last night. Hilarious? Yes. But for Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ sake let’s try not to make this a thing, please.
