There's been no shortage of chatter about Bud Light Presents Sensation, and for good reason: It makes its Canadian debut on June 1, after being one of the world's hottest electronic music events.

There’s been no shortage of chatter about Bud Light Sensation, and for good reason: Long established as one of the world’s leading electronic music events, it’s finally making its Canadian debut on June 1. Known for its mandatory all-white dress code, it’s an underwater-themed feast for the eyes with mammoth art installations co-mingling with pyrotechnic razzle dazzle. The event has long championed the electronic world’s top emerging talent, catching Swedish House Mafia, Armin Van Buuren, and Tiësto on the upswing (amongst many, many others). So, needless to say, we’re excited to finally have the full roster for Canadian chapter of Bud Light Sensation, which was announced on Twitter earlier today. Get your tickets before they sell out!

MR. WHITE

It should come as no surprise that Mr. White’s performing at the Toronto event; anyone who’s followed Sensation’s history knows that he’s Sensation’s mysterious resident DJ. And though he’s well-loved—he has an international fanbase who collect his live sets after each performance—he’s the antithesis of the celebrity DJ. He’s anonymous, decked out in full white facepaint, and spins a mostly house set with one singular purpose: To get the party moving. Check his recently posted set from Sensation’s pit stop in Romania below.

2000 AND ONE

Amsterdam-based 2000 and One, a.k.a. Dylan Hermelijn is a staple of the bass world, and for good reason: He’s been in the game for more than 20 years. In that time, he’s seen his sounds—and his audiences—evolve, dabbling in hip hop, ambient, drum and bass, and, of course, house. He’s also a kingpin of Amsterdam’s electronic scene, having founded 100% Pure, which calls itself “Amsterdam’s longest running techno label.” Check the massive “Toronto” below, because it’s a good bet that 2000 and One will be spinning it in, well, Toronto. At Bud Light Sensation.

FEDDE LE GRAND

We’re absolutely obsessed with Fedde Le Grand, and rightfully so: He’s known for provocative tracks like “Put Your Hands Up For Detroit” and hands-up feel-good anthems like “So Much Love.” But “Rockin’ and Rollin,'” his newest track, represents yet another shift—it’s tough, processed Daft Punk-esque robot rock. And it sounds incredible.

ERIC PRYDZ

You undoubtedly know Swedish-born Eric Prydz for his massive, mid-’00s smash, “Call on Me.” But he’s also one of electronic music’s biggest underground legends, who stands on par with the Tiestos and van Buurens of the arena-scape. But Prydz, who also releases music on Mousevilla, Pryda, and Pryda and Friends, is also adored for his subtlety: He’s risen to the top of the trance and progressive house circles by producing true-blue earworms without using big, obnoxious beats. Check “Power Drive” for proof.

OTTO KNOWS

Here’s where to start with Otto Knows, a.k.a. Otto Jettman: First, play his sublime, eyes-wide-open remix of Imogen Heap’s “Hide and Seek,” the song that brought the young Swede to critical attention. Next, try on his undeniably sexy, sweat-drenched remix of Burns’ “Lies.” Cap it all off with “Million Voices,” below, which might be the best indicator of Jettman’s capabilities: It’s an impossibly joyous, heart-thumping single, complete with sublimely disorienting vocal cuts. No surprise that it’s his biggest hit yet.

SUNNERY JAMES AND RYAN MARCIANO

Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano, in a word: Massive. This Holland-based duo are pure uncut party music—and if their scouting report is correct, expect hyper-energized performances, massive peaks, swooning crescendos, and a set ram-packed with anthem after anthem. They’re already established stars on the international electronic circuit, and they’ve played some of the world’s biggest festivals, including Sensation, Miami’s much-adored Ultra, and Pacha Ibiza (much of which can be seen here). We repeat: Massive.

Over the next few months, AUX is partnering with Bud Light as they revolutionize what it means to party in Canada. We’ll be breaking down the elements of any successful party into an exact science, culminating in the most mathematically perfect party of the year, Bud Light Presents Sensation (seriously, the Partyodic Table doesn’t lie) at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on June 1. The eight-hour experience will see an estimated 30,000 fans Light It Up in ways they’ve never done before. Tickets are available now! You must be 19 years or older to attend. Meet fellow revelers on Twitter via the Bud Light Presents Sensation hashtag: #budlightsensation.
