'The song is about oral sex, obviously, there was nothing to hide'

Remember B4-4’s “Get Down”? Of course you do. That hair. That video. And oh yeah, that message: let’s orally satisfy one another. It was hard to ignore but still a fact the trio denied throughout the height of their popularity.

That’s changed now, though, with twins Ryan and Dan Kowarsky (or RyanDan) performing as serious artists and reflecting on their hilarious, spikey-haired past.

“We said it was about the give and take in a relationship. Looking back at it, the song is about sex,” B4-4 admitted. “The song is about oral sex, obviously, there was nothing to hide”

Choosing to play it wholesome in spite of Vice‘s prodding, the duo said it was a blast to sing the song live. Still, they admit parents might not have been happy about lines like “gonna make you come tonight [pause] over to my house.”

“We had mothers not so happy because their daughters were singing, ‘If you get down on me, I’ll get down on you,'” they continued. “The truth is they were probably right to a point. I don’t know how good that was to have all those young kids singing lyrics like that.”

Read more, including how they’re totally BFFs with Shania Twain and got signed on the spot, over at Vice.
