What if Moby, Weird Al, Tom DeLonge and others auditioned to be in the Postal Service?

Now that the Postal Service have reunited it’s time to ask the important questions, like: how did they actually get together in the first place?

If this video from Funny or Die is any indication, they did it the old fashion way. Watch as the likes of Aimee Mann, Al Yankovic, Moby, Tom DeLonge and Duff McKagan audition to work with Dntel’s Jimmy Tamborello on his new project.

Highlights? How about when “Dave” from Sub Pop tells Duff McKagan that “We all know Guns N’ Roses is Axl, Slash, the guy in the top-hat and Buckethead, okay? You’re not in Guns N’ Roses. Guns n’ Roses doesn’t have a blonde guy.”
