After months in court following up on a summer spent unfairly behind bars, courts in the Czech Republic have found Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe not guilty on all charges of manslaughter stemming from an incident on stage a few years back.

“I have been found not guilty & acquitted of all charges against me. I am a free man,” wrote Blythe on Instagram. “Please remember the family of Daniel Nosek in your thoughts & prayers in this difficult time. I only wish for them peace. Thank you for your support.”

Can we talk about this guy for a minute? Throughout it all, Blythe’s been a class act. Through what some would call the illegal detaining in the summer to the ongoing drama in court (being called psychologically unbalanced, for example), he’s remained humble and respectful. When a key witness fell ill, the judge said Blythe could head back to the United States and need not return for the end of the trial. While that was a solid sign that he would likely be acquitted or found not guilty, Blythe returned. And now, hopefully, he can go back to focusing on his music.
