Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham had a pretty distinct style behind the kit that was lost when he died back in 1980, but now a new website allows users to upload and add some of his most iconic performances to any song.

Ladies and gentleman: the Bonhamizer.

Some songs work better than others, but hell if creator Paul Lamere hasn’t stumbled onto something cool with this. As you’d expect, this was part of Music Hack Day (San Francisco 2013) and uses the Echo Nest, which also powers Infinite Jukebox. The way it works is simple enough in concept, chopping up tracks and aligning them to classic John Bonham drum performances, and yes: “Hammer of the Gods” is one of the options.

You can Bonhamize your own songs here, but we’d recommend checking out Lamere’s creations first. [via BadAssDigest]
