Kanye West is in the studio with Will Smith and learning how to play the tambourine in Brazil

Last week we nearly got duped into thinking Kanye was in Paris working on a new solo record called Rich Black American, but we’ve since learned to not believe anything Yeezy-related without photographic evidence. As you can see from the snapshot above, Will Smith and Kanye West were photographed together in the studio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil earlier this week. Was Kanye just playing Will some tracks, or could the two be plotting some kind of collaboration?

At the very least, it looks like Kanye is taking in some Brazilian culture. In the video below, you can see him struggling to keep pace with some local samba musicians on a tambourine. Pay close attention, because it might be the only time you actually hear Kanye admit to not being able to do something. We don’t want to start any rumours, but you’ve gotta wonder if his eventual solo album will incorporate any elements of his Brazilian visit, Fresh Prince or otherwise.
