Watch Yo La Tengo's new video, "I'll Be Around"

Yo La Tengo’s videos have long been interpretive and abstract, which is maybe why their new clip for “I’ll Be Around” is being billed as their first since 1997. But whatever the context, circumstance or technicality, the Phil Morrison-directed clip is anything but standard.

Whether it’s the recipes that pop up during the cooking clips or the starring nod by Superchunk’s Mac McCaughan, the whole thing’s worth watching. Twice. Do so up top.
