There's a new Destiny's Child song on the way

Remember how everyone was sitting around waiting for a new Justin Timberlake song (possibly featuring Beyonce)? Well this happened instead: Destiny’s Child are back together. Sort of.

According to Pitchfork they’re putting out a best-of called Love Songs in January (the 29th). Whatever, right? But the big news is that the Beyoncé/Kelly Rowland/Michelle Williams-era of the group have reportedly reunited for a new song produced by Pharrell called “Nuclear.”

For Beyoncé, the timing couldn’t be better. Any bets on whether this is part of her Super Bowl gig? Add in the possibility of a new collaboration with hubby Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake and this year’s football championship might have a halftime show we actually watch (and enjoy, which we haven’t done since the three year run that featured Prince, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen).

No word on when the single drops, but what a day for expectations, eh?
