Kid Cudi is starting off the new year doing what he does best: complaining.

Last year he ranted against his “weak ass” label Universal, saying they under-shipped WZRD and treated the album “like some indie side project tax write off,” and now he’s at it again.

This time it’s Republic, who he says are failing to get his songs enough radio play.

Yeah, you read that right: he actually threatened his label (veiled, of course) because his song isn’t getting spun as much as Trinidad James‘.

Want to know the real reason why Republic isn’t pushing your music, Kid Cudi? It’s because you owe them an album. There’s no benefit to them pushing a single off an album (the unfortunately titled Indicud) that’s already been pushed back once and is still only set with a tentative release date (sometime in March).
