How’s your Friday going? It’s probably pretty pleasant. You’re probably just coasting ’till it’s quittin’ time, and then you can go have a wonderful evening with your pals. DON’T GET TOO COMFY. Till Lindermann is here, looking like Heath Ledger’s Joker mixed with a burn victim in a dress, to absolutely ruin your day with his band’s new music video.

“Mein Herz brennt” (translation: My Heart Burns) first appeared as the opening song on Rammstein’s 2001 album Mutter, and this creepy piano ballad version is being released as a single to promote the band’s music video retrospective Videos 1995 – 2012.

It’s fitting that the visuals that acommpany “Mein Herz brennt” are so nightmare inducing, because when you translate the lyrics from German to English, you realize that Linermann is literally describing the terrors of nightmares.

Good luck sleeping tonight, y’all!
