Reason #8,344,287,201 the Internet is amazing: this video.

Independent musician Andy Rehfeldt has carved out a pretty fantastic viral niche for himself on YouTube. He takes a live video of a popular band, isolates the acapella, and re-records the band’s instrumental tracks, transforming the song’s overall tone and genre. Suddenly, Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” is a playful smooth jazz ballad, and Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” is a polka. When the instrumental syncs up perfectly with the live video, it’s pure magic.

For his latest YouTube video, Rehfeldt has re-imagined the instrumental for Rage Against The Machine’s “Killing In The Name Of” in a much less aggressive vein. It almost sounds like Zach de la Rocha is totally happy about doing what the man tells him to do.

Watch the much less angry version of “Killing In The Name” above, and check out Rehfeldt’s metal version of “Call Me Maybe” below while you’re at it.
