Watch Yo La Tengo's new video, "Before We Run"

Yo La Tengo’s new album, Fade, won’t be out until January 15th of next year, but why wait for a taste? Here’s their video for lead single “Before We Run,” directed by Georgia Hubley’s sister Emily… which isn’t say much.

Though it does the trick, the clip is devilishly simple, almost entirely revolving around a single photo of an incredibly large tree, with fluctuating coloured dots patterning alongside the music.
