We’re based in Canada, but sometimes you’ve got to go with the flow. So, basically: USA! USA! USA!

But no, that’s the general vibe online today, and it’s bled into the music industry, too, with Sufjan Stevens releasing a pretty speckled version of the US National Anthem last night when the election was still in a dead heat. When you think about it, this cover of “The Star Spangled Banner” is the closest he’s come in years to actually working on his Fifty States project. That’s got to be worth something, no?
