Jermaine Jackson is changing his name to Jermaine Jacksun

No, we don’t get it either.
The Associated Press says that Jackson cited “artistic reasons” as the reason for the change when he filed the documents on Tuesday.
“Phonetically, it changes nothing,” said Jackson’s friend Steve Dennis. “It is something he has chosen to do, and it’s fair to say that you cannot blame this one on the boogie, you’ve got to blame it on the sunshine.”
Yeah. He actually said that.
We’ll know whether Jermaine becomes a Jacksun on February 22nd. In the mean time, he’s working with his brothers and promoting a book about Michael called “You Are Not Alone,” squashing any possbility that the name change is prompted by the urge to separate himself from the King of Pop’s legacy.
