Dr. Dre’s built a reputation over the last decade as an artist who’s seemingly always working on something, even if it never surfaces, and Lil Wayne’s added to the story with word that he’s done over 90 songs with Dr. Dre.

“I’ve always worked with Dre. I’m not sure if you guys know how Dre works, Dre always sends you a song, so I done, probably did like 90 songs for Dre,” said Weezy to MTV news. “You just never know which one he gonna put out.”

None, it would seem. Weezy talked about his work with Dre in regards to their upcoming collaboration on a pair of headphones, implying that they’ve already got a solid working relationship. But scan quickly through both of their discographies and you’ll notice that nothing they’ve ever done, if he’s in fact telling the truth, has ever been released. It makes sense, too, because if there’s anything Dre’s better at than actually producing records, it’s tossing them in the vault and sitting on them for what feels like forever.

Lil Wayne’s I Am Not a Human Being II is out in December and is expected to feature production by Dre. We’ll see.
