Bon Iver designs hideous guitar made from a whiskey barrel for anyone with $6000 to spend

Bon Iver might be considering calling it quits, but not before he checks every box on the list of clichés he seems determined to keep growing. Up next is a guitar, designed by Justin Vernon, that’s made out of wood from a whiskey barrel.
Though Vernon designed and will likely get credit for the guitar, which is hideous, the real work was done by Gordy Bischoff, who crafted it out of a Bushmills Irish Whiskey barrel. They’re auctioning it off on eBay, with all proceeds going towards building a community arts centre in Eau Clair, Wisconsin, where both Vernon and Bischoff are both from.
