Olympic snowboarder Shaun White arrested after getting drunk at Black Keys drummer's wedding

Earlier this week, Olympic gold medal snowboarder Shaun White’s bruised face was showing up all over the internet, the result of a night of public drunken debauchery and vandalism that resulted in the athlete’s arrest. Turns out, he got that drunk at Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney’s wedding.

Carney got married in Nashville over the weekend, and White was a guest.

“I want to apologize for the unwise choices I made over the weekend and for any inconvenience it caused my family, friends, business partners, the hotel and their guests,” he said on his Facebook. “I was celebrating a happy occasion with a ton of family and friends and got carried away. I’m truly sorry for my poor behavior.”

The Nashville Police say that White pulled a hotel fire alarm, causing an evacuation. He then tried to hail a taxi to escape and, while being chased by a hotel guest, hit his head on a fence. [via Spin]
