Listen to two new Missy Elliott songs, "9th Inning" and "Triple Threat"

FINALLY after delays and holdups and pauses and LIES, Missy Elliott is officially formally back with her first new songs in years. You might have already heard a bit of “9th Inning” in a sample we posted earlier this month, or maybe you’ve heard the clips of her running through it and “Triple Threat” live, but this is the real deal—full studio versions of each track.
We probably don’t need to mention that both were produced by Timbaland, who is a big fat liar and promised new albums from himself and Missy would be out in June. Obviously that didn’t happen, but you can expect these two tracks to be on Missy Elliott’s Block Party, which should be out early next year or whenever the hell they feel like it.
