Hurricane Isaac is weakening after thrashing its way through the American Gulf Coast, but why hear it from us when you can watch Down’s Phil Anselmo (who you might know better from his time fronting Pantera) report the weather in traditional TV style.

“Phil Anselmo here reporting for Housecore News, and boy do we have weather!” he says at the start of his report.

“All the way through Friday, there’s a flash motherfucking flood alert,” he later adds.

The clip was recorded on Wednesday, even though Anselmo initially swears its Thursday.

“You want to keep your pets in and keep the little kids fuckin’ occupied with some sort of battery powered bullshit, and we’ll be back with a later report on Hurricane Isaac.”

The clip was originally posted to Down’s Facebook page, but was impossible to hear. The embed below by Metal Injection is much clearer (though you’re still probably going to want to crank your speakers a bit).
