If you follow Titus Andronicus on Twitter you’ve no doubt noticed Patrick Stickles has been going buck the last few nights hyping the band’s new album, which has been referred simply as #LP3 prior to today. In usual fashion, he asked fans to play along—this is after all a guy who regularly tweets his phone number—telling them the band’s new album would be named after one of his regularly used hashtags. And after plenty of speculation and guesswork, Stickles revealed that the album won’t be called #REALTALK, instead announcing that the follow-up to 2010’s The Monitor is going to be called Local Business and that it will be in stores this October.

Here’s the thing, though: fans have heard most of these songs for the better part of the past year, either because they’ve been part of the band’s relentless touring schedule or in one song’s case because they were on the mixtape put out by the band back in March. For convenience sake, we’ve embedded a bunch of links in the tracklisting below for you to check out. We personally can’t wait to hear a studio recording of “(I Am the) Electric Man”.

One thing we didn’t know was that Owen Pallett would be guesting on the release, but we guess he had to get rid of the sour taste left by Linkin Park somehow, eh? Local Business is set to come out October 23rd through XL Recordings. Get stoked.
