Yesterday, the Internet was reeling from the news that Kanye West wrote the song “Perfect Bitch” about his girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

In a tweet that was later deleted, Kanye shed a little light on who inspired the yet-to-be-heard cut from upcoming G.O.O.D. Music collaborative album Cruel Summer:

To be fair, it’s maybe as close as Kanye can come to giving a compliment.

Yes, it’s misogynistic. It’s awful. It’s mean. You might even say it’s cruel.

So, are people really surprised that Kanye West, the unofficial King of Mean, has made a record called Cruel Summer with a love song called “Perfect Bitch”? The album isn’t called Kind Summer. We’ve only heard three songs from Cruel Summer (“Cold,” “Mercy,” and “New God Flow”), and there’s already an album’s worth of mean and misogynistic lyrics in that small sampling.

Let’s roll back some of the meanest lyrics uttered by the ruler of cruel himself, and effectively prepare ourselves for an album that’s chock full o’ hate.

Kanye West, the walking definition of way too cold. Cruel Summer will be released on September 4th. Try not to get your feelings hurt.
