When we found out Rick Ross gave new MMG recruit Rockie Fresh a diamond encrusted Rolex as a signing bonus, it was sort of surprising. We know that Rozay has given Meek Mill and Wale lavish gifts in recent memory, but how does it make other relatively new crew members like Stalley, Omarion, and Gunplay feel when Rockie Fresh jumps the line and gets a brand new Rolex out of it? How quickly does crew love turn into crew envy?

Rick Ross seems to be a pretty generous guy. Based on his lyrics, we can speculate that when you’re hanging with Rozay, it’s all private jets, court-side seats, and Ciroc by the jug-full. You could call it exaggerated egotistic crowing, but Rick Ross tends to prove his generous nature in real life, through presenting his Maybach Music Group crew members with luxurious gifts. He’s taking cues from the likes of Dr. Dre, who gifted Rick Ross with a $100,000 Hublot watch on Ross’ for his birthday in February.

So, when does the rest of the Untouchable Maybach Empire get their fast cars and fancy bobbles? In a way, he’s already given his crew members the greatest gift of all. By taking them under his wing, he’s giving them a valuable co-sign that can take them to the next level. You guys know the old hip-hop proverb, right?

“Give a man a chain, make him trill for a day. Teach a man to earn chains, make him trill for life.”

With that said, we know that Rick Ross doesn’t owe his Maybach label-mates anything.

But, it’s fun to speculate on what kind of gifts he might have given each member of MMG after signing them. The gifts for Wale, Rockie Fresh, and Meek Mill made it to World Star Hip-hop, but maybe these low-profile presents didn’t get that kind of media coverage for a reason.

Here’s what we think Rick Ross might have given Stalley, Gunplay, Omarion after signing them to MMG.

Stalley

Rick Ross signed buzzing Ohio rapper Stalley to Maybach Music earlier this year, and he released his 4th mixtape Savage Journey To The American Dream under the MMG banner shortly after.

What we think Rick Ross gave him as a signing bonus: a gold-plated beard comb.

Gunplay

In June, Rick Ross took to Twitter to announce that his longtime friend and protege Gunplay would soon be releasing a solo LP via a joint-release by Maybach Music Group and Def Jam.

What we think Rick Ross gave him as a signing bonus: a golden gun, and tickets to an off-broadway show. (Gun, Play — see what we did there?)

Omarion

In May, Rick Ross held a press conference in New York City, where he announced details for pretty much every Maybach-related release for the next six months. At this press conference, Rick Ross announced that veteran crooner Omarion would be joining the team.

What we think Rick Ross gave him as a signing bonus: a golden microphone, to match those golden pipes.
