Another day, another delayed hip-hop album: MellowHype's 'Numbers' pushed back

Another day, another delayed hip-hop album. Today it’s the latest from MellowHype, whose album Numbers has been pushed back a week from its original release date and set for a shelf date of October 9th. The duo (consisting of Left Brain and Hodgy Beats) said on Twitter that the album is great, but not “intact.”

“I’m on tour getting these masters right,” said Hodgy Beats. “I won’t settle and put out music I’m unsatisfied with.”

But with one trend comes another. Like many of their peers, the delay comes with new music to break the tension. Not only is the duo planning a MellowHype week in Septemeber, which promises a new song each day, but today sees the release of their new video for Numbers lead single “La Bonita.” Watch it up top, and check out the album’s cover below.
