It seems like all it took to squash the Young Money/G.O.O.D. Music beef was some anti-gravity, mannequins, skeletons, a hot pink elephant, and a guy in a panda suit. Lil Wayne and Big Sean have teamed up on the video for “My Homies Still,” a colourful, surreal take on suburban neighbourhood living directed by Paris. The video is so wacky, cartoonish, and playful, you’d never recognize that there was ever tension between the rappers’ respective crews.

The song borrows the hook from Big Sean’s “Dance (A$$),” with Weezy and Sean repeating “Go stupid, go stupid, go stupid” in the chorus. Not only is the song recycled from Big Sean’s 2011 single, it seems like the inspiration for the video clip came from a laundry list written by Wayne: “Uhh yeah, for the video, let me get some elephants, some skeletons, lemme hang upside down, ride my skateboard, and then I want Big Sean’s head on a platter.” So yeah, pretty stupid.

“My Homies Still” is the first single from Lil Wayne’s upcoming record I Am Not A Human Being Pt. 2, which does not yet have a release date.
