Drake is flexing his acting chops again, but this time he’s out of the wheelchair and into the vocal booth. Drake is flexing his acting chops again, but this time he’s out of the wheelchair and into the vocal booth. In the animated film Ice Age 4: Continental Drift, Drake is providing the voice for a woolly mammoth with a faux-hawk named Ethan (pictured above).

In this leaked footage of Drake voice-over acting for the film, he spouts some pretty hilarious lines that make absolutely no sense out of context. Watch below:

This could be incredible sample-fodder for the next Drake diss song. Some of the lines Drake is working on include:

“Oh no, he did not just do that. That was crazy!”

“If that mammal lives, I have to meet her.”

“Right, well, I just came by to say hey, and make sure you recovered from that totally humiliating dad drama.”

“Cool. Look, we’re gonna chill tomorrow. We’ll probably just like, throw stuff at other stuff. You wanna come with?”

“You got some crazy possum-ness going on there. I’ve never seen a mammoth sleep like that.”

Drake isn’t the only musician-turned-voice-actor contributing to Ice Age 4. Queen Latifah, Jennifer Lopez, Ester Dean, and Nicki Minaj are all lending their vocal talents to the film. It’s too bad there’s no footage of Nicki recording her lines, because we’re dying to know if her woolly mammoth character will have a British accent or not.

If you watch the whole video above, you can see studio footage of Ester Dean recording her lines for the film, as well as Tyrion Lannister Peter Dinklage working on his hilariously-named character Captain Gutt.

Ice Age 4: Continental Drift is in theatres July 13th, 2012.
