JoJo has clearly done a lot of growing up since her hit single “(Leave) Get Out” became a smash hit in 2004. She wrote over 100 songs for her upcoming album Jumping Trains, and everything we’ve heard so far has been pretty steamy and dreamy. Yes, JoJo has come a long way since she played Robin Williams’ daughter in the 2006 classic American comedy film RV. Now she’s all grown up, and both Robin Williams and her real father would probably find her new music incredibly uncomfortable.

It’s important to realize that JoJo has grown up a lot since “(Leave) Get Out,” because her new material definitely weighs on the sexy side of the moral barometer. She’s not the 14-year-old we found adorably angsty in the mid ’00s. Now she’s 21, she’s all grown up, and both Robin Williams and her real father would probably find her new music incredibly uncomfortable.

JoJo recruited Drake’s right hand producer Noah “40” Shebib for “Demonstrate,” which makes a lot of sense when you remember that JoJo has covered and reinterpreted a few Drake songs in the past year or two. It sounds like one of Shebib’s signature dreamy introspective R&B slow jams, with some fancy electric guitar riffs floating in occasionally. JoJo can’t put her sexual frustration into words, so she begs her lover to come over and allow her to “demonstrate” how she’s feeling. YOWZA. You know that Drake approves.

Check out “Demonstrate” below. Jumping Trains is set for a Fall 2012 release.
