You probably know Flo Rida as that rapper who’s the least memorable part of his own songs. But now he’s in the news for more than his music, as a Canadian promoter is suing him for blowing off a 10-date tour in 2011.

Spin Artist Agency, who promoted north-of-the-border concerts by Drake, Nicki Minaj and P. Diddy, is asking for damages of more than $200,000 to cover their lost revenue. You may have heard that Flo Rida is a wild one – oooohhh-hoooo-oooohhh – but if their suit is successful, this will become an empirical truth.

This is not the first time that the noted rider of flows has gotten into hot water for reneging on gigs. Earlier this year, he was ordered to pay $80,000 to Australia’s Fat as Butter Festival when he failed to appear. You kinda have to give him the benefit of the doubt on that one as, due to miscommunication, he accidentally went to New Zealand’s I Can’t Believe It’s Not Fat as Butter Festival.
