Hans Zimmer, the celebrated film composer who recently scored The Dark Knight Rises, released a new song called “Aurora” last night. The song was inspired by the Aurora theatre shooting tragedy, and all proceeds will go to a fund set up for the victims.
On his Facebook, Zimmer said:
“Aurora” is dedicated to those who lost their lives and were affected by the tragedy in Aurora, Colorado. I recorded this song in London in the days following the tragedy as a heartfelt tribute to the victims and their families. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Aurora Victim Relief organization.
The song is available on iTunes or you can listen, donate, and download over at MoonToast. [via The Guardian]
