There’s finally a release date for the G.O.O.D. Music crew album. Out September 4th, Cruel Summer is, from the sounds of things, bursting with one thousand collaborations. Pusha-T! Big Sean! 2 Chainz! Frank Ocean! Jay Electronica! Marsha Ambrosius! Kid Cudi! John Legend! And so on!

G.O.O.D. Music ringleader Kanye West is, of course, no stranger to collaborations. But still, there’s some time between now and Cruel Summer‘s release, and having already been pushed back a few times, it seemed worthwhile to offer a few pointers in advance of the much-hyped album’s release. So here, for Kanye’s benefit, are some of the worst collaborations ever — a selection of YouTube cautionary tales. And now, if the album is great, we take full credit.

David Bowie and Mick Jagger’s “Dancing in the Street”
Recorded and shot in one day. Not shocking.

Michael Jackson and Eddie Murphy’s “What’s Up With You?”
What’s up with this song? HELLO.

Bono and Frank Sinatra’s “I’ve Got You Under My Skin”
Prerecorded Chairman vocals and Bono being Bono.

Busta Rhymes and Mariah Carey’s “I Know What You Want”
No, you don’t.

Nelly and Tim McGraw’s “Over and Over”
Imagine if this actually took off as a rap-metal-style subgenre?

Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder’s “Ebony and Ivory”
The collaboration trainwreck to which all collaboration trainwrecks aspire

The Fat Boys and the Beach Boys’ “Wipeout!”
Actually really good.

Lynryd Skynyrd and Mike Huckabee’s “Sweet Home Alabama”
It’s so unnerving to see Huckabee play music like a human being who feels things.

Paula Abdul and MC Skate Cat’s “Opposites Attract”
MC Skate Cat.
