Lana Del Rey has successfully summoned the ire of the internet yet again today, simply because she—GASP!—covered a Nirvana song at a show! How dare she! That’s sacred!

Before contributing to the pile-on, let us remember some other recent live Nirvana reenactments, and re-direct our snark there for a second. Again.

Joseph Gordon Levitt knew his cover of “Lithium” would go on YouTube. We are part of the problem.
And the worst of all Nirvana covers ever of all time past, present, and future, was this one where Jared Leto dressed up as and dramatically depicted Kurt Cobain doing a Nirvana medley. HOO BOY.

Oh and honourable mention to the Butch Walker studio cover on this thing. Because what?
