The summer of 2 Chainz continues, with a visual for the Drake-assisted track “No Lie,” the first single from Based On A T.R.U. Story. 2 Chainz must have liked the way he looked in the “Mercy” video, because Director X chose to feature the boastful duo in black and white again, this time surrounded by naked models having paint dripped all over them.

2 Chainz is trying to make the ascension from a feature rapper to a full-fledged headliner, and that’s going to be tough when you’ve got Drake singing the hook and trading verses with you. The song is a verified banger, but I think a lot of the appeal comes from the show-stealer Drake, and the monstrous beat, produced by Mike Will.
Based On A T.R.U. Story comes out August 14th, 2012. Check out the video below:
