Watch the new Dirty Projectors video, "Gun Has No Trigger"

If the way the new Dirty Projectors video is shot reminds you of something, it’s intentional. First time director David Longstreth says the imagery in “Gun Has No Trigger” is centred around the iconography of Facebook and those classic Apple iPod commercials.

“‘Gun Has No Trigger’ is about the possibility for true dissent, and how I can’t figure out what that could be,” he says in a press release. “What is a 2012 Exodus from the Society of the Spectacle (to mix language Situationist and Rastafari)?”

No, we don’t really know what that means. But hey, the video and song are both great, so check them out up top. If you like what you hear, Dirty Projectors’ will release their new album Swing Lo Magellan on July 10th.
