Stars have announced the follow-up to 2010’s The Five Rooms with The North, due out September 4 on ATO Records. The album was produced by the band, along with Marcus Paquin (Arcade Fire) and Graham Lessard in the RCA Victor Studios in Montreal.

The band has also released a first listen in the form of “The Theory of Relativity,” a dark-synth portal reminiscent, as Spin points out, of M83, but with signature complimentary vocals from Torq Campbell and Amy Millan softening the tone.
