COULD IT BE REAL THIS TIME? Cat Power has announced her new album Sun for September 4, and this time she’s even released a single, “Ruin,” to go along with the news, and it is fantastic, all of it is fantastic.
The long-awaited effort was self-performed and self-produced; a break-up with boyfriend Giovanni Ribisi helped see it through its completion, she tells The Stool Pigeon.
