Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music collective announces released date for 'Cruel Summer'

…But also remember when Watch the Throne was “announced” for months and months before it finally came out, and also how hip-hop release dates change more frequently than Kanye’s moods. But forgetting all that for just a second, let’s just assume that Cruel Summer, the compilation from Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music crew, will be out August 7, as member Pusha T told Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97 yesterday.

The album was originally announced last fall, and already spawned the single “Mercy” with Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Pusha T. Funk has put another track with Pusha, produced by Swizz Beats, online, called “Mercy 2.” Listen to that here. [via Rap-Up]
