There’s perhaps no better way to welcome in the sweltering heat of the summer season than with DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince’s 1991 classic “Summertime,” and hey, would you look at that, a new version of the song has just popped up online for you to bob to while you sweat.

That’s of course assuming you were ready to hear a 40-something Will Smith rap a new verse over what might be the best song from his rapper days. Don’t worry, though, it’s just an intro, and if you’re asking yourself “why?” you aren’t alone, but there’s a logical explanation for the re-write: it’s the first track on a new, free mixtape from Jazzy Jeff and Mick Boogie’s new mixtape, Summertime 3, which you can grab for free, here (mirror here). And you should, because it’s one hell of a mix, with songs by everyone from Michael Jackson to the Lox compiled to get you grooving in the smog.
