90-year-old Thespian Sir Christopher Lee promises his next album will be 100% metal

Sir Christopher Lee is an iconic, 90-year-old actor whose appearances on the silver screen have captivated audiences for over 60 years. He’s also pretty into heavy metal, and while his last album was more symphonic than anything, he’s promises that Charlemagne: The Omens Of Death will be 100% heavy metal.

Like the first Charlemagne album, The Omens Of Death will likely deal with Lee’s relation to Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne.

“I’ve done my bits and pieces, and they are heavy metal,” he tells the BBC. “I’m not screaming or anything like that, but it is definitely 100 percent heavy metal.”

There’s no word on when the album comes out, but it’s expected out this summer. [via Blabbermouth]
