May 16, 2012
The Strumbellas’ video “The Sheriff” will chill you to your bones with its Fargo-esque themes and diabolical senior citizen. The song is packed with the band’s signature bluegrass twang and is the lead single off their new album, My Father and the Hunter. The video is directed by Michael Maxxis whose previous work includes two Juno nominated videos: Billy Talent’s “Veronika” and Hollerado’s “Good Day At the Races.”
