Mumford and Sons are at the PinkPop festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands today, and they announced during their performance that their new album would be released in September.
They later confirmed in an interviewwith 3FM DJ Roosmarijn Reijmer that the album’s release date is Sept. 24, according to Paste.
The band recorded the album earlier this year, once again with producer Markus Dravs, who worked with the band on their breakthrough debut Sigh No More. No further details are available just yet, but now that the news is out there, it’s only a matter of time.
